My OCA Exhibition is designed to create and promote awareness of the Menopause.
I have liaised with groups from a range of different areas to get understanding about how this stage effects society. These artworks also contain a very personal narrative and show both the fragility and strength of women going through this stage of their lives.
Doncaster Art Fair 2021
My 2021 Doncaster Art Fair submission exceeded my expectations in getting selected from over 2,500 artworks on to the Long List. The theme was mental health this year, I chose to submit my Menopause Coverlet to gain awareness to this subject.
By entering the competition I increased response levels to the subject and my work through reaching a wide range of age groups and both genders.
